Start with the thermostat. It sounds basic, but misconfigurations are one of the top reasons we get called out — someone bumped it to "fan only," the batteries died, or the set point is higher than room temperature. Next, check your air filter. If it's gray, matted, or you can't see light through it, swap it out. A clogged filter is the single most common cause of weak cooling. Finally, walk outside and look at your condenser unit. If it's buried in weeds, packed with cottonwood fluff, or has debris piled against it, clear at least two feet of space around it. Your AC can't reject heat if the condenser can't breathe.
